Dr. Prashant Sarawade is a Consultant Urologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon with 8 years of professional experience in the diagnosis, treatment and surgical management of urinary tract and male reproductive system disorders. He holds an MBBS, MS and DrNB in Urology, with his DrNB qualification from New Delhi.
His clinical practice covers various urological conditions affecting the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and urethra. His areas of interest include Endourology, Kidney Stone Management, Prostate Disorders, Reconstructive Urology, Laparoscopic Urology and Uro-Oncology.
Dr. Sarawade has experience in minimally invasive stone procedures such as Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL), Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS) and Ureteroscopic Lithotripsy (URSL). He also performs procedures for prostate enlargement, including Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) and laser prostate surgery.
His reconstructive urology practice includes urethral stricture treatment, urethroplasty, buccal mucosal graft urethroplasty and perineal urethrostomy. He also manages selected complex urinary conditions, including stress urinary incontinence and vesicovaginal fistula.
His laparoscopic surgical experience includes nephrectomy and pyeloplasty. In uro-oncology, he provides evaluation and surgical management for selected cancers involving the kidney, bladder, prostate and penis.
